We can arrange Food Safety courses in SUFFOLK, ESSEX, CAMBRIGESHIRE, NORFOLK and HERTFORDHIRE for £60 - Level 2 and £150 - Level 3 per person providing you have at least 5 candidates.

This qualification is ideal for anyone in a supervisory, team leader or managerial role. Subjects covered include understanding the requirements for health, safety and welfare in the workplace, the benefits of using a safety management system, the principles of risk assessment, and understanding the risks and control methods for common workplace hazards.

 

How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?

 

This qualification is obtained by taking a 3-day classroom-based course.

 

How is the qualification assessed?

 

This qualification is assessed by a 60-question multiple-choice examination lasting 2-hours. Answer at least 40 out of 60 questions correctly. A Merit is awarded when you score 50 or more. The examination will take a maximum of 2 hours to complete.

This qualification is designed to provide learners with knowledge of the basic health and safety practices essential in the workplace.

How long will it take?

The course is delivered over one day (6 hours).

The qualification provides learners with an understanding in the responsibilities of employers and employees, the benefits of good health and safety, steps to a risk assessment and how they can reduce accidents, near misses and ill-health, typical hazards and controls in a workplace, common causes of accidents, near misses and ill-health, emergency procedures and the importance of recording accidents, near misses and ill-health

This qualification is assessed by a multiple-choice examination
